Join the Larkin Center for Arts & Culture Programming Committee

The Larkin Center for Arts & Culture will launch in 2026 as a community-guided nonprofit supporting theatre, music, storytelling, and creative programming in the historic Magpie ballroom. For more than 130 years, this space has brought people together — and we’re committed to strengthening that tradition with broader community involvement.

We are forming a Programming Committee to help shape the events and experiences that come into the space.

What the Committee Does

  • Reviews performance and event requests

  • Helps curate and balance the programming calendar

  • Offers insight into community interests

  • Supports promotion and audience engagement

  • Ensures the LAC reflects the diverse voices of Red Lodge

Who We’re Looking For

We hope to bring together 8–10 community members who:

  • Care about arts and culture in Red Lodge

  • Represent different ages, backgrounds, and interests

  • Can attend meetings monthly or every other month

  • Feel comfortable encouraging attendance and community participation

You don’t need to love every genre — just the mission.
