INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Communication
This is a very important component to our positive partnership in this program. I often become overly involved in client’s lives and want to help day/night/weekends and holidays. I have learned over the past few years that this is not good for me or my family. So, I ask you to please communicate through the email/website forms as much as possible. This keeps me in balance as a mom and an educator. It also keeps all of our dialogue in one place, it can be really hard to help individuals when I am racing between texts, emails, CGM and InPen data.
I work M-F, 8-5 MST.
Blood Sugar Tracking Technology
I find that we can make the most impact as a team, if there is a clear picture of your blood sugars, insulin dosages and carbohydrate intake. This allows us tp catch errors that could be contributing to your frustrations and empowers you to have better self-management of your sugars.
The InPen, is a fantastic tool for you as an individual to be empowered in your care and for me as an educator to see if there are any ways in which we can make adjustments for therapies to more closely match your goals. The InPen also lets you safely use insulin between meals, without stacking as well as lets you know when it expires and if it is getting too hot, which can cause the insulin to loose it’s efficacy.
The InPen and Dexcom are not mandatory for participating, however, they will enhance your success rate.
Individual Sessions
If you invested financially in the program, you are able to meet with me 1:1 every week. If you are unable to invest, individual meetings are available to you at $25/session, which can be set up with me through my schedule below.
These meetings are your responsibility to schedule, if you do not schedule a meeting, I will presume that you do not need any additional guidance this week.
There are times in CF when chaos arises unexpectedly, on both our ends. I just ask that you give me as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can schedule here.

Data Collection
Grant data. In order to show our need for funding and the value of our work, we have to show that our program improves distress around diabetes management as well as improved blood sugars.
So, please take a moment to fill out the following forms and update your A1C anytime you have results.
