Attain Health Foundation – Evolving to Meet Emerging Needs

Established to cultivate a sense of community among those affected by cystic fibrosis (CF), Attain Health Foundation has proudly witnessed significant advancements in CF research. These developments have dramatically enhanced the lives of over 90% of those with the condition, enabling many to pursue education, careers, and family life—experiences once thought unattainable. In response to these transformative changes, we are in the process of revising our mission to continue our commitment to those in need.

Our focus extends beyond CF, embracing empowerment, coaching, and life enhancement. While we maintain specialized support for individuals with CF and diabetes, we are expanding our services to include coaching for sobriety and substance abuse recovery. This initiative addresses the urgent needs of individuals and healthcare professionals impacted by the emotional challenges of long-term care and loss in the CF community.

Leading this new direction, Kat Porco- our founder, has enhanced her expertise with a certification in Gray Area Drinking, focusing on individuals with chronic diseases, their caregivers and their health care teams.

As we develop our new website to better represent our expanded services, our coaching programs are currently accessible at www.katporco.com. This initiative is a direct extension of Attain Health Foundation, and we are excited to grow these services to better serve our community in the coming months.
